Lent Midweek

✝️ Join us for our final Lent Midweek. Because it is also the Annunciation of our Lord (March 25), Holy Communion will be served.
🍲 Join us for supper at 5:15pm in the Ministry Center.
Palm Sunday
📅March 29 🕑8am & 10:30am
🎶Kids Sing @10:30 service
Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord! All are invited to join the Palm procession following the cross. Then, we will meditate on our Lord’s suffering as we listen to St. Matthew’s account of Jesus’ Passion.
Maundy Thursday
📅April 2 🕑6:30pm
Join us for the Maundy Thursday Service with Holy Communion. The service concludes with the stripping of the altar, a sacred rite that reminds us of Christ’s departure to Gethsemane to begin His suffering for the sins of the world.
Good Friday
📅April 3 🕑6:30pm
Join us for the Chief Service focused on Jesus’ Passion from the Gospel of John. Since this is part of the Triduum (three-day service beginning with Maundy Thursday), we enter and leave in silence.
Easter Vigil
📅April 4 🕑6:30pm
Join us for the Vigil of Easter! We begin with the lighting of the new fire, then process with candles into the sanctuary in darkness to hear the story of salvation through key Biblical events. The service concludes with Holy Communion.
Easter Sunday
📅April 5 🕑7am & 9:30am
🍳Breakfast @8:15am
Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Celebrate the Lord’s resurrection with us on Easter morning. A breakfast will be served in the Ministry Center between services. All are welcome!
Special Service
📅April 20 🕑7pm
🥧Dessert to follow the service
Zion is hosting a spring pastor’s conference with an evening Divine Service. Communion at this service will be celebrated using the chalice only (no individual cups). Come and worship with pastors and their families from across the South Dakota District!

Vicar Watch Party

Zion anticipates receiving a vicar from the Fort Wayne seminary again this year. Join us for a potluck, then we will watch the placement service to see which family will be joining us this coming year!
