Trail Life Troop 1611
A Christ-centered outdoor adventure program for boys ages 5-17.
About Our Troop
❓ Trail Life Troop 1611 is a chartered troop of Trail Life USA.
🕧 We meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
📍 We meet at Zion Lutheran Ministry Center, 620 E 3rd Ave, Mitchell, SD. The Ministry Center is located to the north of the church parking lot off Burr St.
🏕️ The mission of Trail Life USA is to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.
Program Overview
Woodlands Trail
- On the Woodlands Trail, boys ages 5 - 10 gain knowledge about outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship, and faith through fun activities, awards, and skill instruction.
Navigators
- As Navigators, boys ages 11 - 13 gain understanding of their values and beliefs under the guidance of godly male role models through being responsible in outdoor adventures and in their home and school life. They explore areas of interest and earn Trail Badges for advancement.
Adventurers
- As Adventurers, young men ages 14 - 17 mature in wisdom and faith through more difficult challenges and leadership activities with Christian men walking alongside. They plan and lead outdoor events and large projects while exercising leadership positions in the Troop, even mentoring some of the younger Trailmen.
