Lutheran Student Ministry in Mitchell
SOLA is a group of college students and young adults in Mitchell, SD looking to encourage one another in the faith as we get together as a family to grow, learn, serve, worship, and rejoice. We serve both Dakota Wesleyan University and Mitchell Technical College.
SOLA is hosted and led by Zion Lutheran Church (LCMS), located at 620 E 3rd Ave, Mitchell, SD.

⛪ WORSHIP
Sundays at 8am & 10:30am @ Zion
Receive the Word and Sacraments with our congregation. You’re welcome to come to either service, but most college students come to the 10:30 service. We know how you like late nights!

Join with other college students weekly for fellowship, prayer, fun, and study. Each week, we’ll dive into relevant topics, engage in meaningful discussions, and enjoy activities that build community.
📖 MEN’S & WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES
Men: Thursdays at 7am @ Zion
Women: Tuesdays at 7am @ Zion
Join with women or men of all ages for a verse-by-verse study of 1-2 Timothy & Titus. This is a great way to get to know other generations of Christians in our church and build relationships beyond college friends.

Wednesdays at 6:30pm @ Zion, Supper at 5:15pm
Advent: Dec. 2, 9, 16
Lent: Feb. 10, 17, 24, Mar. 3, 10, 17
During Advent and Lent, join our church family for a delicious supper followed by an evening worship service and special sermon.
