Women, You’re Invited to take part in the LWML!
We’d love to have you! There are two Circles (smaller groups) who meet monthly (except the summer months of June, July, and August, our afternoon Circle also skips the winter months of December, January, and February). Each month they have a Bible study and of course, plenty of fellowship!
Choose a Circle that meets your schedule needs or interests! Each Circle has variety of service projects that they undertake, and together they all contribute their offerings (mites) to carry out mission projects on state/national/international levels.
The LWML also maintains the church kitchen and serves meals in conjunction with funerals held at Zion. The whole LWML meets together quarterly in January, April, July, and October.

What Do We Do?
For Ourselves:
Monthly Bible study & Christian fellowship within our Circles
Encourage & support one another
For Our Congregation:
Serve funeral luncheons & special events
Distribute cradle roll
Maintain kitchen & supplies
Maintain & activate a prayer chain for prayer needs
Send care packages to college students
Decorate the Christmas trees
Provide Christian greeting cards for sale to church members
Send greeting cards to members
Visit shut-ins and also those hospitalized and bereaved
For Our Community:
Supply diapers to the Mitchell Safehouse
Support the Mitchell Food Pantry
Assist with Meals on Wheels program
Provide 12 backpacks with supplies for high school students
For Our World:
Participate in Lutheran World Relief Projects-Quilts
Support LWML Missions all over the world with our Mites
