During the school year we invite you to join us for Education Hour between the Sunday services (9:15am-10:15am). The summer schedule varies so feel free to contact us with any questions.
To comply with the City of Mitchell’s mask order, face coverings will be required for all Sunday school teachers and children over the age of 5 beginning Sunday, Nov 22. Since the students are already doing this for their regular school attendance it is expected that they will wear their own masks, in case they are forgotten, a mask will be provided.
Preschool – 8th Grade Sunday School
Sunday school is normally in session from the second weekend of September through the end of April. We are excited to partner with you in teaching your children the Christian faith. Classes are held in the Education Building, both upstairs and downstairs. We are happy to show you the way, just ask!
High School – Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF)
Our high school youth group meets on Sundays during the school year to strengthen their faith in Christ and bonds with each other as they discuss a variety of topics and plan events. They meet in the basement just off the kitchen/basement fellowship area. Feel free to ask someone if you’re not sure where to go!
Adult Bible Study
Dig deeper into your own faith with our lively, adult Bible study held in the basement fellowship area! There are stairs in the narthex near the front double doors (on your left as you exit the sanctuary), or there is an elevator in the north narthex (go through the short hall to your left as you exit the sanctuary-the elevator is at the far end of the room). Come enjoy a cup of coffee and discussion. The class may take a break in the summer so check the calendar.
Due to the ability to have plenty of social distance, face coverings are not required for this study.
